We are offering 3 courses to public safety employees on building resilience using the 3 pillars.
All courses are offered in an online format, 3-6 hours in length, and can be completed over several sessions (you can start and stop at anytime). A printable certificate will be issued once you complete the course.

Individual Resilience course
- Provides strategies and practical information for public safety personnel on coping skills and psychological resilience
- Frames psychological resilience as adaptive process
- Contains video interviews with clinicians and public safety employees that illustrate the key concepts and demonstrate the skills and strategies outlined in the course
- How to recognize telltale signs of stress and mental health challenges
- Provides sleep and nutrition tips for shift workers
Family Resilience course
- Family Resilience is your family’s ability to manage adversity by building and strengthening awareness, connections, and healthy relationships
- This course takes 3-6 hours in total. The family activities can be completed over a 10-week period.
- Encourages collaboration & mutual respect to strengthen family relationships
- Explores family values and spirituality
- Explains the importance of routines, rituals, and expected change
- Highlights the outcomes of effective teamwork
- Encourages honest and age-appropriate communication of sensitive subjects
- Surveys potential sources of social support & community resources
- Fosters the creation of safe spaces and open emotional expression
- Provides Family Activities (games, quizzes, videos) accessible to all ages, as well as a printable workbook
Workplace Resilience course
- Explores what psychological safety in the workplace looks like and how to foster the creation of safe spaces in the workplace
- Learn skills to help create and contribute to a positive and resilient workplace
- Understand that creating psychological safety in the workplace is a shared activity
- Explore ways to encourage civility and inclusion at work, resolve conflict, mitigate bullying/harassment, and appreciate how ethics & integrity relate to a psychologically safe workplace
